Forthcoming Westside restaurant will serve waffles in every dish

Atlanta Business Chronicle – In a city that knows a thing or two about waffles, a forthcoming Westside restaurant will feature the breakfast staple in every dish.

Sacramento, Calif.-based The Waffle Experience will open its first East Coast location at The Works in summer 2021, according to a news release. The Waffle Experience will reside in a 2,200-square-foot space on the mixed-use development’s Chattahoochee Row, adjacent to Fox Bros Bar-B-Q and Dr. Scofflaw’s, the 9,000-square-foot macro-brewery and taproom from Scofflaw Brewing Company.

Open from morning until mid-afternoon, The Waffle Experience will serve breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads and desserts, all incorporating waffles in some fashion. The “ultimate babe” sandwich, for example, is a beef patty, pulled pork, cherrywood smoked bacon, white cheddar, onion rings, shaved jalapeños, arugula and chipotle aioli served between bacon-studded herb waffles. The “hail Caesar” salad is roasted chicken breast, parmesan, sliced tomato, red onion and spring mix greens served with waffle croutons.
