The Spur is a quarter-mile linear pedestrian park that takes advantage of unique sloping topography by aligning tiered pathways, seating areas and art features down the north/south spine of The Works. Its name gives not to its history, more than 70 years ago when trains arrived for loading and unloading of industrial materials along what is now The Spur.
